Juliana is an (adorable) Brazilian actress, dancer, and motion capture performer based in New York. Her journey began in São Paulo, where she dedicated much of her life to dance, earning a degree in Classical Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance. In 2011, she made the bold move to New York City, where she was accepted into the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, completing their 2-Year Conservatory program and graduating in 2013.
Since then, Juliana has made her mark on the New York theatre scene. Some of her notable roles include playing the lead, "Deidre," in the rock musical "Painted Woman," as well as performances in New Stage Theatre Company's "Garden of Delights" (an IT Awards nominee), "Day of The Feast," and the Off-Broadway production of "BABEL" with Convergences Theatre Collective. Her talents have also taken her to the West Coast for the Fury Factory Festival in San Francisco with "No Place," and to the NYC Fringe Festival with "Savana Glacial". In 2017 Juliana was nominated for Best Actress at the Brazilian International Press Awards.
Just before the world shut down, Juliana had the honor of performing in Singapore at the 2020 Singapore Fringe Festival as part of the Square One Collective team, again, in the play "No Place."
In 2021, Juliana expanded her creative horizons by stepping into the world of animation acting. She quickly transitioned into motion capture, performing for Invisible Universe's leading characters, including the award-winning 3D character, Qai Qai, and other animation studios around the globe.
Juliana believes in creating intelligent, educational and inspiring work for both theatre and film.
Think of a brave and bright character, with a fun touch of Brazilian charm.
